Does DevelopDent accept HMO?
DevelopDent operates as a private, fee-for-service dental practice and does not bill HMO providers directly. This is a deliberate choice. The clinic's standards around appointment time, materials, and single-dentist care don't fit within the reimbursement structures HMO contracts use. Patients with HMO dental coverage are welcome as private-pay patients. The clinic provides complete clinical documentation, including itemised receipts, treatment notes, and radiographs, that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement.
